New Announcement: Auto cancellation of arrival period expired work permit entry pass

Work permit entry pass that exceeds 90 days, (the maximum allowed duration for arrival) will be automatically cancelled if the work permit entry pass holder does not arrive to Maldives within this period.

Please reapply for a work permit entry pass if a new work permit entry pass is required.

New Announcement: Separation of Sole Proprietorships Profile & Domestic Profile in Xpat system

  • Individual profile will only include domestic category permits
  • Sole Proprietorship profile will only include commercial category permits
  • Existing relations of the Individual profile will be maintained in the new Sole Proprietorship profile at the time of the change
  • You can change the relations of the Sole Proprietorship profile once it is available
  • You can view the new profile from "transacting" options, with the registered Sole Proprietorship name and registration number
  • Employers must have a valid Sole Proprietorship registered to apply for services under the commercial category.
  • Services will be blocked from 15th November 2022, if the Employer does not have a valid Sole Proprietorship registered
